These past couple weeks we have been in the process of preparing our house to sell. In that time we have been packing, getting new floors and now the main focus is our bathroom. Throughout the whole time i haven’t really had a “go for it attitide” and today when i wanted to sleep instead of paint i thought of a tricky little saying to show how i was feeling. “Paint minus the I and T is pan. Pan spelled backwards is NAP!” Now this is all kind of dumb, but i promise i do have a point. Sometimes God puts in our lives stuff that we dont necessasarily want to  do or it’s out of our comfort zone. Will we have an attitude of laziness or will we accept what God has given us? In Evan Amighty there is a part were God is telling the woman “If you pray for patience is he going to give you patience or opportunities to be patient.” God knows exactly what he wants us to learn in every situation that he brings our way. He wants us to follow and obey what he has planned for us!

Yet again for the 3rd time or so i am put back in this place again. My best friend is moving. When i found out the news i was sad and a little angry. I asked myself… “Why does God continue to take my best friends away?” Now as i look back to that phone call when i got the news, I realize that Jesus is constantly whispering that HE wants to be my best friend. For a while i didnt understand how this hurt could result in an EVERLASTING friendship with Christ but as i began to dig deeper i found that Jesus wants to be our ALL. “Romans 5:11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.” Everything inside of us must trust in His plan. We must let Him fill us more than anything in the world could. His plans for us are so much better than we could have for ourselves. Who wouldn’t want a friend like that?!
